Rebecca Clare Vasile is an enchantress of Irish and Sicilian heritage. She is a professional dancer, choreographer and instructor by day and a producer, entrepreneur and dance ethnographer by night. She has professionally performed a variety of dance genres from salsa to modern, lyrical jazz to afro-Haitian, Hawaiian hula, ballroom and more. However, Rebecca’s main dish is Middle Eastern bellydance. For almost two decades, she has brought the art of bellydance to thousands through both performance and instruction. Through the years Rebecca has developed a unique training style - an amalgamation of Pilates and bellydance fused with other dance techniques. She teaches in the San Francisco Bay Area and in workshops around the world. Rebecca has performed for numerous celebrities and most recently had a guest appearance with Aerosmith on their Global Warming tour. Since 2010, Rebecca has been performing internationally with Bellydance Superstars. She can be seen on our Bombay Bellywood DVD.
